GOLDEN NIGHT IN A GOLDEN PARK

(AMONG GOLDEN TREES LOOKING FOR A SILVER MOON)

CACCAMO, ITALY

Never in my life, although Caccamo was my mother's hometown, had I found myself strolling late at night in those surroundings. So I walked immersed in a bronze vegetation, whose soft light of the various lampposts made it almost confusing because of its golden references. The night falls asleep nature, the artifice colors it. Feelings of peace so strong as to seem overwhelming, the ticking of time that stops ... the age of the castle pervades all around, I too could be a messenger or courtier. There is no external sign that takes me back to the current situation I know, nowhere does the spell break. Even my mind has chosen to be transported like this, in the illusion of a moment that was believed to be eternal.
